12 Tags of 2014 - Tim Holtz (January)

Hi Everyone,

Wow it is January 2014 already and that for me means the lovely Tim Holtz is back to start a fresh new collection of brilliant ideas and tags for 2014 entitled '12 Tags of 2014'. This time last year I was 8 months pregnant and completed January 2013 tag with gusto and then immediately created 10 more tags. February rolled around and I managed to complete the fabulous tag for that month too. And then new life arrived to the family and all my crafting was put on hold for a little while. Now that I am fully adjusted to life as a Mum I am now managing to juggle home life and craft life. So in saying that I am vowing to complete the 2014 tags along with Tim and everyone else who is joining in.

In order to make the January tag I had to think a little outside of the box as I did not have the pocket watch die or the metal foil. So instead I cut the pocket watch out on my Circut and then used aluminum foil which worked out not too bad really.
Without further adieu here is my tag for January.....

And ironically the other day I created a steampunk inspired card which looks awfully similar to this tag so I thought I would just display it here also.

Many thanks for stopping by, I wish you all a happy and creative day.

  7. I really like your tag. The rust touches on your pocket watch gave it interest and depth.
