Here is a little shadow box I put together using the gorgeous Bird Song papers from Graphic 45. I am completely in love with this collection, I am not sure what I love more, this range or Olde Curiosity Shoppe (they are both too gorgeous!!).
To make this project I took a small balsa wood shadow box and slowly covered it all in the Bird Song Papers. Once covered I 'Modge Podged' the whole lot to give it a nice glossy shine. I then added bronze embellishments, a bit of ink, hand folded fans and some gold rub n buff. Super happy with how this turned out.
Here are a couple of close ups and different angles, thanks for stopping by!!

Scrapbookit - Basic Grey, Soleil Collection
Happy Weekend to you all, welcome to Saturday :-)
Today I am delighted to bring you a bright and happy collection of papers from Basic Grey's Soleil collection.
Our final layout challenge for this year is to scraplift a fabulous page that Mel our DT leader has designed. Please find below firstly Mel's layout and then my lift following straight after.
I only made a few minor changes to my own layout, following Mel's to be closely the same yet a little different. I thought theses papers perfect for page one of my upcoming baby album. I have kept it no secret I am having a girl and now by showing this I am announcing her name too, I am ok with this ;-)
Janene has set our card challenge for the month and the challenge is to create a Christmas card using lace as an embellishment. My own personal challenge was to create a card using pastel coloured based papers, could it be done? yes it can!!. Christmas cards do not necessarily need to always red and green do they? throw some colour in I say (and use only a little green or red!)

Graphic 45 Bird Song - Made With Memories
It is with a big THANK you and a cheery farewell to my time on the design team with Made With Memories, many thanks Anne-Marie for your support and encouragement over the last year. It has been an absolute pleasure being part of your team. Please be sure to check out the design team call if you wish to join a fun and active team - Design Team Call LINK.
As my grand finale for the team I wanted to create a few very special projects which are now on display in the shop. I had the absolute pleasure of working with the GORGEOUS Graphic 45 Bird Song paper, what a joy it is to work with their paper. I just love Graphic 45 products, cannot seem to get enough of them!!!.
My first OTP project was a configuration box, I used all kinds of random bits and bobs I had in my secret craft stash (don't we all have one of those?).
I came across a small balsa wood bag in my local Spotight store, I thought it PERFECT to make another OTP project with my Bird Song paper. This was super fun to make, every thing just fell into place so perfectly.

Scrapbookit - Kaisercraft's Just Believe
Hi Everyone,
Wow!! what a busy month it has been for Scrapbookit, a BIG congratulations to Jo for completing the huge shop move and also a BIG hello and welcome to all who participated in our blog hop.
In saying that I think now is a most appropriate time to announce the winner of my RAK, I am pleased to say Maree is the lucky winner. Maree please contact me on remorris76@gmail.com with your contact details and I will post out your goodies to you ASAP. Congratulations!!!
My DT kit for this month contained Kaisercraft's Just Believe collection, a gorgeous collection of bold papers in rich greens, reds and other coordinating colours. To look at this paper I think most people would automatically think Christmas, this would be a fair assumption because it is mainly Christmas themed. However, Christmas themed paper can be used for many different projects, it can be very versatile. I have completed four projects (two here, two for the blog hop) this month and have used the paper for all non Christmas related items.
Below is a layout containing a photo of my grandparents, two people who will always love each other dearly. It is a little hard to see in the photo but all the flowers have been fussy cut from other sheets of paper and layered. The scalloped piece of paper has also been fussy cut from another sheet. The Thickers used were quite a bright green, to dull them down a little I inked over them with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
A small thank you card.......
Products Used : Kaisercraft - Just Believe Papers and Die Cuts, Thickers (Colour - Merry), Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
Thank you all for taking the time to look, I wish you all a fabulous and extremely creative weekend.

Scrapbookit's October Blog Hop
Welcome
to
Scrapbookit’s October Blog Hop
Thanks for
joining our Design Team on our inspirational hop around to share this month’s
challenges which Kerry and Janene have set for us all.
Firstly the
the Layout challenge is to create a layout using Patterned Paper as your
background but have lots of negative space, ( scrapping in only a ¼ of your
page), to use ribbon, and to have your journaling hidden.
Secondly the
card challenge is to create a card which has wings as your feature, (be it
birds, butterflies, or angels, etc.)
Here are my
examples, both of which have been created using Kaisercraft's gorgeous 'Just Believe' range.
One lucky person who follows all the blog hop rules 100% correctly will win from me this RAK (good luck!!).
So what are
you waiting for? Follow the Hop over to :-
and
Welcome to
our Guest Design Team member for this Challenge
Leave a
comment, follow the blog, and answer the Blog Hop Question on every members
blog then hop back over to the Scrapbookit Blog and write your answers in our
comments section. (Comments will be hidden)
You could be
in the running for some wonderful RAK’s from the team and if you enter the
challenges you could win a Prize Pack (valued at $ 40) for your Layout, or a
Card Pack (valued at $20).
Here is my question for the hop.....
How much does the Kaisercraft Tigerlily Stamp cost in the Scrapbookit store?
Happy
Hopping!!!

Scrapbookit - Everyday Eclectic
Hi Everybody,
Welcome to the weekend, time to amp up the crafting mojo and get your craft on.
This month I was sent a wonderful design team kit full of the new Echo Park Everyday Eclectic
range. This range is very cool, it can easily can go in a few different
directions, from cute through to to arty. The amount of superb
stickers you get on the 12 x 12 sticker sheet is excellent, it should go
without saying but I loved the letter stickers too (and as you can see
even all combined together they look pretty good).
I was asked to set the challenge this month and immediately came up with the following criteria.
- Twine
- Hexagons
- A quote
At the time I thought, yep nice one
Rebecca, good challenge. I still stand by that good challenge statement,
however I did not anticipate it would cause me to pause over my papers
studying them for nearly an hour. I admit to struggling with getting
this one started, once it began though it evolved into a fun colourful
fun page. For those of you lucky enough to have a Cricut you will be
very pleased to know the Accent Essentials cartridge has a choice of
hexagons which you can use.
Now the photos used were taken at the
Jelly Belly Factory in California. I have always loved Jelly Belly Jelly
Beans, I have never hidden this fact. It was one of my USA trip
highlights to visit the factory and enjoy all the yummy samples. I have
to admit as a visitor my husband and I may have been on the rather old
side of the age group, none the less LOVED every minute of it.
I am very much looking forward to seeing all your challenge creations!!

Zeus & Zoe - Mixing it Up!
Hi Everyone,
I am back again to share a mixed media canvas with you all. It is a modern
canvas with a touch of Zeus and Zoe vintage. The Zeus and Zoe elements
include buttons, laces and book text. This all combined with gel medium,
pan pastels and texture paste created this interesting 3D OTP effect.
Did you know the Zeus and Zoe Etsy store
is now selling Scrap FX chipboard? Yes!! all the way from my home
country of Australia. You need to get your hands on some of this, it is
brilliant and very versatile and comes in brilliant array of different
styles.
Have you joined our challenge yet? my super talented DT sister Jaz has set the challenge for this month.
Our challenge for July 15th:
Create
an altered project that is OTP (Off the page). You can be creative and
design anything ie jewelleries, cigarboxes, mini albums, altered
bottles, just anything that inspire you. Entries must be received by AUGUST 15, 2012.
Thank you for stopping by, wishing you a happy and creative week.

Scrapbookit - The Lakehouse Collection
Hello Everyone!!
Rebecca back again with my first blog upload with my new Scrapbookit DT kit.
Thank you Mel for creating a fab sketch for us all for this months challenge. Please enter this months challenge for your chance to win. All you need to do is email your entry to joanne@scrapbookit.com.au by the 14th of August.
This month I have
been crafting with Kaisercraft 'The Lakehouse' collection. This
collection is soft and whimsical, lots of pretty flowers and many coordinating different embellishments.
For this sketch
challenge layout I used one of my wedding photos, ahhh yes this is going
back nearly 11 years mind you, still have plenty of photos to scrap
mind you.
Materials:
Kaisercraft Lakehouse Collection, Lakehouse -
Collectables, Lakehouse - Sticker Sheet, twine, Tim Holtz
Distress Ink - Vintage Photo.
All of these are available from our Online Store at Scrapbookit.
Janene has set a very interesting card challenge this month. It is to use colour blocking and a stamped image or sentiment.
I personally had never heard of colour blocking and was instantly
intrigued, I did a quick google image search and soon go the gist of
what was needed. Here is my take on the card challenge and my first
attempt at colour blocking.
Many thanks for stopping by for a look, cannot wait to see what you all create for our challenges this month.
Be happy and creative!!

Zeus & Zoe - Altered Box
Hi Everyone,
I
am back again to share with you an altered box I made from one of my
wonderful Zeus and Zoe kits. Now I am not usually a pink kind of girl,
however this kit jumped right out at me and it was love at first sight.
The kit was full of wonderful and GORGEOUS items. I adore the antique
brooch and the stunning Berry71Bleu
ballerina tag. This box has been put together nearly entirely out of
Zeus and Zoe items, all I added myself were the Tim Holtz box feet and
corners.
Did
you know that Marivic can make you a custom kit order? let her know
your color choices and budget and she will be able to put something
simply amazing together for you too. Please send her an e-mail for all custom orders.
Thank you for taking the time to stop by, I wish you all a happy and creative week.
