Each year I see Tim Holtz start his 12 tags series and I ALWAYS intend on joining in but never do. This year is a year of change and I thought I would kick the new year off with getting creative and joining right in with '12 Tags of 2013'. I thoroughly enjoyed putting this tag together and now my fingers are all wonderfully inky.
Thankfully I thought ahead and decided to make two tags as I always seem to get attached to my work and never want to give it away. Now I have one for me and one for someone else.
Happy New Year to you all!!!

Brilliant tag - sentiment is so true.
ReplyDeleteThank you Tam :-), I love the sentiments Tim uses on all his stamps, so many apply to every day life (and the fonts are always cool too!!).
DeleteNice tag. I love that quote. :)
ReplyDeleteKeep up the wonderful work through 2013!
blessings, denise :D
Hi Denise, thank you!!, I am so looking forward to each month now so I can make a new tag (not that I will stop making more in the meantime). I now have a small tag addiction!!!
DeleteGorgeous background--the colors are so rich! And I love that quote too. I'm glad you jumped on the Tim's Tag bandwagon!! =D
ReplyDeleteI love the Tim Tag Bandwagon!!! ooooh any minute now we will get a look at February's tag, I am ready to jump all over it (providing I have all the goodies to make it).
DeleteGreat job on the tag. I look forward to seeing all of them. =)
ReplyDeleteHi Christy, many thanks, I look forward to making HEAPS more, I am now addicted.

DeleteA lady after my own heart, another inky finger junkie, Great start on your 2013 tags, I am hoping to complete too! love the eye and your colour combo
ReplyDeleteUs inky finger junkies have to stick together, you truly appreciate another fellow crafter after you look at their hands, is there ink? excellent, we will get along just fine. Looking forward to seeing what February brings us, we will see super soon!
DeleteI am exactly the same and think "oh I must do that!" but life always seems to get in the way! I love your tag and I do love that eye stamp in the corner. BTW your blog heading is so cute! Cx
ReplyDeleteSo the question is, did you do it? did you jump in too? please say yes!. I have loved looking at all the tags that everyone else has made.

ReplyDeleteThank you!! and now I sit here anxiously awaiting to see what February will bring for us all. It is going to be nice and hot here in Perth this weekend, I look forward to crafting all weekend (plus I am 38 weeks pregnant and not planning to move too far). Have a fabulous weekend!
Deleteyour tag looks great!
ReplyDeleteThank you Dani, it was super fun to make. This one got me all tag crazy and I created a heap more (see next post in my blog). Have a wonderful weekend!
DeleteCongratulations!! Your tag is beautiful! :)x
ReplyDeleteWow!!! I actually won something?? Woohooo, this news made my very early morning. Super exciting. Now looking forward to getting cracking on February's tag (some major improvisation is going to be needed!).
DeleteLove your colors and the eye in the corner! Major improvisation is half the fun! This is my 4th year i have done the tags (don't always get them posted, but always get them made!) and I make it a rule to never run out and buy something I don't have but instead create with what I have! Enjoy the journey!
ReplyDeleteHi Nonnie, what a lovely post you have left me, thank you for taking the time. I am hearing what you are saying regarding improvisation, I have just finished my tag for February, definitely used product I already had and still somehow it sort of looks a little like Tim's (but really not at all, oh well, I made it mine!). I am loving the journey so far, it has really made me open my mind a little further and also begin to use up some of this ample craft stock I have been hoarding. Have yourself a fabulous weekend!!! Bec
