Today I am sharing with you an 8" x 8" mini scrapbook layout. As it is
Mother's Day very shortly here in Australia our family members (and it
is a BIG family) have all been given the task of making an 8" x 8" page.
These pages are then going into a big family album and it will be given
to my Grandmother as a Mothers Day gift. Cannot wait until she opens
this gift, she is going to love it.
This layout has been created with papers and gorgeous embellishments from Zeus and Zoe. All papers, beads, flowers and lace were part of a French themed Zeus and Zoe kit,
it was only fitting to use a photo of my husband and I in France (a
photo I have used in my work probably two too many times). I was in LOVE
when I received this wonderful box of treasure, very much looking
forward to putting more projects together.
Thank you all for taking the time to have a little look, wishing you all a fantastic week.

Scrapbookit April Design Team Work
Hi Everyone,
Wow! I am excited to be here posting my first lot of design team work for Scrapbookit. I must firstly say a very big thank you to Jo for choosing me to part of the design team, I am excited and cannot wait to share my work with you all over the coming months.
Layout - Create a layout that includes a quote (that is visible - could be your title, journalling), flowers (which must be a focus on your layout) and some ribbon/twine.
Here is my take on the challenge for this month.
This month I got to work with the fabulously bright and sunny Country Garden range from Bo Bunny, it is just happy paper that brings a smile to your face. To compile this layout I hand cut the leaves and sun and then added some rough (deliberately rough <because I cannot sew very well>) hand stitching. I am a big fan of inking and distressing, walnut ink and and a bit of distressing with my distress tool has also been included. The butterflies have been hand cut and stickled to bits. Now let me talk about the photo, it is a picture of myself and my Mum on our 'girls only' trip to Melbourne last year (we had an absolute ball!).
Now onto the card challenge which I have also used the Country Garden range by Bo Bunny.
Card - Create a Mother's Day card that includes a quote
Wishing you all a very happy and creative week.

Zeus and Zoe - Mini Drawers Project
Today I am sharing with you an OTP mini drawers project. These mini drawers I purchased flat packed from Kaisercraft, they have been covered with the lovely Kaisercraft paper range Madame Boutique.
Now lets talk about the gorgeous embellishments.....
This set of drawers has been decorated with wonderful metal embellishments from Zeus and Zoe. Vintage buttons, I LOVE all these buttons, yes each and every one of them. I wanted to make a project that would show them all off in one go, hey presto, the mini drawers project came to life. I included one large button on the top and a pair of hanging gold keys down the left hand side, both of which are also from Zeus and Zoe.
Thank you all for taking the time to have a little look, wishing you all a wonderful and creative weekend.

Scraputante - April Guest Designer
I am excited to announce that I have been asked to be a Guest Designer for Scraputante for the month of April. Scraputante is a wonderful online store featuring luxury scrapbooking and card-making supplies. A big thanks to Kelly the owner of Scraputante for this wonderful opportunity, it was a pleasure working with all the products you provided me with, thank you.
Below you will find three layouts and one card created with the bright and cheery Miss Caroline range from MME. There seems to be a common theme running through all the projects, eyelets. Some scrappers say eyelets are not always in scrapbook fashion, I say stick with what you like, eyelets are not like jeggings and I truly believe there will always be in style. Go the eyelet!!!!.
Thank you for stopping by, wishing you all a lovely and creative week.

Beyond Curiousities
Here is layout No 1 produced with the wonderful April Kit from Scraps of Darkness called Needful Things. This kit is full of wonder and amazement, so many cool items to scrap with. It is an exciting day each month when my kit arrives to my house from the USA.
The photo used is my Great Great Grandfather (the father of the lady I scrapped yesterday, my Great Grandmother). I felt this photo was perfect for these interesting papers from Graphic 45. Go go Graphic 45, I love you so.

April DT Work - Made With Memories
I am back to share a layout I have created for my local scrapbook store called Made With Memories. It was a pleasure to again work with some wonderful Graphic 45 paper.
The photo used is a picture of my Great Grandmother, although the photo was a scanned copy of a very badly damaged photo I like the way it looks aged and worn.
The lovely flower in the top right hand corner of the photo has been handmade by Renea and they can be purchased from her Etsy store - Reneabouquet.

Key to the Art - Zeus and Zoe
I am back again with more DT work created with amazing Zeus & Zoe embellishments. The gorgeous metal charms and the art slide are a small part of the items I received in my Zeus & Zoe DT kit. More kits have just been loaded for sale, jump in quick as they are GORGEOUS and full of wonderful treasures.
Today I thought I would bring to you something a little on the different side, this is more than just a small shadow box (3" x 3"), it is actually a displayed piece of art. If you hold this box up to the light you will see a wonderful slide in the foreground and the painting you will see is called 'The Childhood of Jupitor' by Jacob Jordaens. I felt it a shame to stick this slide down to a page and wanted to create way that you could still see and appreciate the art, this was the perfect solution.
The papers I have used in this OTP project are from the Bonjour range by Kaisercraft.
This is the best view I could get of the light showing through the box, the only way to truly appreciate it is to hold it in your hand and hold it up to the light. The papers I have used in this OTP project are from the Bonjour range by Kaisercraft.
Thanks for stopping by, enjoy your week!
